Project

A functional invention grounded in an established character.

I designed and built a desiccant chamber that needed to feel as though it had been created by one of the film’s characters. Before designing it, I watched the previous movies to understand his personality, visual language, and approach to making things.

That research informed the improvised mechanical character of the finished prop. I was also given permission to incorporate Easter eggs from across the series, adding details for viewers familiar with the films while keeping the apparatus convincing on camera.
